GEARWRENCH makes it simple, if your tool fails, use the Warranty Replacement Form or contact customer service (877-626-3433 or atg-technicalquestions@apextoolgroup.com) and we will replace it for free per these warranty terms. *GEARWRENCH warrants to the original end-user purchaser in the United States that the GEARWRENCH product will be free from manufacturing defects from the date of delivery for the warranty period in the chart.
**90-Day Calibration Guarantee:
Accuracy standards for calibration on GEARWRENCH Torque Products are guaranteed for 90 days from date of receipt. GEARWRENCH Torque Products are precision tools that contain moving parts. These components are subject to normal wear through use, and service and replacement is the responsibility of the buyer. GEARWRENCH Torque Products should be routinely checked for calibration.
To make a Calibration Guarantee claim, please call 877-626-3433 and have the following information available: (1) product subject to claim, (2) place of purchase, and (3) date of purchase and receipt. If you are outside the 90-day Calibration Guarantee period but would like assistance with recalibrating your GEARWRENCH Torque Product, please call 877-626-3433.
Proof of Purchase
If you own a GEARWRENCH tool, we are there to back it up with our support. We do not require a receipt; we will only ask you where you bought the product and for proof of purchase. See below for Authorized Sellers!
Replacement Product
At GEARWRENCH, we will replace or repair products that qualify for the warranty. For products that are subject to replacement, we will pay for the shipping and provide a free replacement product. For products that are subject to repair, GEARWRENCH will pay for the repairs provided by an Authorized Repair Center. The consumer will be instructed to ship the product to an Authorized Repair Center and is responsible for shipping costs to the Authorized Repair Center; the Authorized Repair Center will pay to ship the repaired product back to the consumer. Please note GEARWRENCH Torque Products must be sent to a GEARWRENCH Authorized Repair Center for warranty evaluation:

Consumable Products
Some GEARWRENCH tools and accessories are deemed consumable and do not come with any warranty support. Consumable tools and accessories include accessory bits, bit sockets, cutting tools, taps and dies, and tool carrying cases (i.e. blow molded cases, injection molded cases, pouches). The products in the chart above are the ones that come with our warranty.
Authorized Sellers
GEARWRENCH cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, so this warranty applies only to products that were purchased from a GEARWRENCH authorized seller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. GEARWRENCH reserves the right to reject warranty claims for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites.
This warranty shall not apply to normal wear and tear for the warranted products (“Products”) or Products which have been misused, abused, damaged by accident or negligence; damaged from the repair by anyone other than an Authorized Repair Center; damaged from shipping and handling; modified, disassembled, reassembled, or altered by anyone other than GEARWRENCH; or improperly installed, used, or stored.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty is, at the option of GEARWRENCH, repair or replacement. IN NO EVENT WILL GEARWRENCH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR STRICT LIABILITY, EVEN IF GEARWRENCH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
GEARWRENCH is not responsible for personal injury or damage resulting from improper Product usage, Product modification, abuse or usage beyond expected product life.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
