The GEARWRENCH family of torque wrenches & torque products offer the latest innovations in torque measurement. Included in the line are micrometer, tire shop, beam and electronic torque wrenches, as well as, torque multipliers. The micrometer wrenches are available in fixed head and flex head. The fixed head line offers wrenches in 1/4" to 3/4" drives. The flex head wrenches are available in 3/8" and 1/2" drives. The tire shop wrenches feature a rugged tire tread rubber cover on the head intended to specifically be used for checking wheel lug nuts and are available in 3/8" and 1/2" drives. The electronic torque wrenches ensure a more precise fastener torque level and are available in a 3/8" and 1/2" drives. The GEARWRENCH line of torque products allow the user to complete any job where accurate torque is required.

  • Frequently Asked Questions
How portable is this torque multiplier for use in different job sites?
While torque multipliers are heavier than regular wrenches due to their internal gears, they are generally designed to be portable, often coming with a carrying case for ease of transportation to various job sites.
Does the tool require calibration or maintenance for accurate performance?
Regular calibration and maintenance are recommended to ensure the torque multiplier remains accurate over time, especially for critical applications like bolting heavy machinery.
What industries would benefit from using a 2,000-foot-pound torque multiplier?
Industries such as construction, mining, and heavy equipment maintenance would benefit from this tool, as it is designed to handle very high torque applications typically required in those sectors.
Does a torque multiplier need to be calibrated?
We recommend regular calibrations and servicing for your torque multiplier to make sure the proper torque is applied. Check out our warranty page for information on our authorized torque multiplier service center, Hydratight/Sweeney Repair.
