  • Frequently Asked Questions
What is a common use for this 1,200-foot-pound torque multiplier?
A torque multiplier is typically used for tasks requiring high torque, such as loosening or tightening heavy-duty fasteners on trucks, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment.
How does this torque multiplier reduce the effort needed for high-torque applications?
The multiplier uses a gear mechanism that increases the applied torque, allowing users to achieve higher torque levels with less manual force, making it ideal for challenging jobs.
Is this tool compatible with both impact wrenches and hand-operated wrenches?
Yes, torque multipliers like this one can be used with either manual wrenches or pneumatic impact wrenches, offering versatility depending on the job requirements.
Does a torque multiplier need to be calibrated?
We recommend regular calibrations and servicing for your torque multiplier to make sure the proper torque is applied. Check out our warranty page for information on our authorized torque multiplier service center, Hydratight/Sweeney Repair.
