GEARWRENCH Wins Multiple PTEN Innovation Awards
GEARWRENCH has won the first awards of 2024, starting out with the PTEN Innovation Awards. PTEN recognizes the most innovative products introduced in the last year to the automotive market, and GEARWRENCH has claimed two of those categories with products launched in 2023.
Winning its first award in 2024, MEGAMOD Master Mechanic Hand Tool Sets won the PTEN Innovation Award in the Shop Equipment category. GEARWRENCH launched five new MEGAMOD Master Mechanic Hand Tool Sets ranging from 614-1,268 tools with multiple storage boxes and tools nested in modular foam trays that fit in the drawers of the toolboxes and include shop equipment products.
Also winning its first award in 2024, the Bolt Biter Wrench Inserts took home the PTEN Innovation Award in the Tool Accessories category. Bolt Biter Wrench Inserts launched in 2023, and are bi-directional wrench inserts that seat quickly and safely on damaged fasteners to remove the fastener quickly and easily, also allowing the reuse of specialty fasteners that are extracted.

The annual Pro Tool Innovation Awards (PTIA) began in 2013 and are judged by a panel of professional tradesmen and trade media representatives in plumbing, electrical, MRO, landscaping, general contracting, mechanics, and building. This year, over 465 products were submitted in dozens of categories for a chance to be recognized.
