  • Frequently Asked Questions
Is this wrench suitable for automotive applications?
Yes, this wrench is often used in automotive settings for tasks like tightening lug nuts, which require high torque settings.
Can I use this wrench for both clockwise and counterclockwise torquing?
Yes, most beam torque wrenches are bi-directional, allowing you to measure torque in both directions.
How long is this torque wrench?
The overall length for the 1/2" Drive Beam Torque Wrench 0-150 ft/lbs is 20 inches.
When should I use a beam torque wrench?
Beam torque wrenches can be less precise than micrometer torque wrenches or electronic torque wrenches but they're great if you need a rough indication of torque or if you're tightening fasteners where precise torque isn't critical. They are also less expensive than the more precise click torque wrench or electronic torque wrench.
