New Line of Indexing Pry Bars Now Widely Available

After launching the new line of innovative Indexing Pry Bars in late 2007, GearWrench expanded availability through industrial distributors, local mobile tool distributors and auto parts stores nationwide this summer.

Designed to improve access in tight applications, the Indexing Pry Bars come in five sizes, including 8”, 10”, 16”, 24” and 33” lengths. The head of the pry bars can be adjusted to 14 different positions, offering more than 180 degrees of angle. The 8" Indexing Pry Bar can also function as a seal pick for removing engine and axle drive seals. The 24 and 33” pry bars have a grooved bottom surface for added traction. A new addition to the line is an expandable version that extends from 18 to 29” and features the 14 position indexing head. A two-piece set is available that includes the 8” and 16” fixed length pry bars.

GearWrench Unveils New TPMS Kit

Automotive technicians now have the benefit of two tools in one easy-to-use device with GearWrench’s new Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Introduced in July, the GearWrench TPMS Kit features a sliding adjustable torque scale for easy fitting and an audible alert that indicates when a preset torque value has been reached. Also included in the kit is a flexible 1/4 –inch drive for a screwdriver or torque wrench that can accommodate up to 120 of air pressure. A valve stem tool and two commonly used sockets for TPMS sensor maintenance during tire and rim changes.
