The three new ratcheting wrench innovations in the extra long "XL" line allow professional tool users to access hard-to-reach fasteners with up to 25 percent longer beam lengths and a ratcheting box end that requires as little as five degrees. XL X-Beam Reversible and XL X-Beam Flex Ratcheting WrenchesXL X-Beam Reversible offers a reversible lever that allows users to alternate from loosening to tightening motions without flipping the wrench over. The unique 15-degree offset provides clearance for users' hands. The XL X-Beam Flex Wrench features a flex hinge on the box end of the wrench allowing users to adjust the offset angle when working in tight spaces. One end of the X-Beam wrench is forged at a 90-degree angle from the other end, and the tapered handle is thicker on both sides than a standard wrench. An independent test conducted on behalf of the Arthritis Foundation yielded a favorable review of the X-Beam and its acceptance as the first hand tool in the organization's Ease-of-Use commendation program.
