Gearwrench® Extends QuadBox Product Line at The 2007 National Hardware Show

With the National Hardware Show in Orlando as the backdrop, GearWrench announced the extension of the QuadBox product line and the introduction of the new FlexHex tool in May.

In 2006, the 4-in-1 QuadBox ratcheting wrench was introduced. Recognized as the tool industry’s first 5-degree ratcheting wrench with four different sizes on a single wrench, the QuadBox set of two wrenches replaced up to eight traditional combination wrenches. The extension announced at the 2007 National Hardware Show adds one additional SAE wrench and two additional metric wrenches. Users now have the option of 16 different sizes in four easy-to-carry wrenches. QuadBox fits into tight spaces and helps speed and productivity. Beginning in August, the QuadBox will be available at a suggested retail price of $39.99 for a 3-piece set from various GearWrench distributors and mass retailers.

GearWrench also introduced FlexHex, a series of flexible hex keys that tap the benefits of the flex head technology for which the tool manufacturer is known. Unlike traditional hex keys, which are set at a 90-degree angle, the FlexHex can be used in a variety of configurations to improve access and leverage. Hex keys are used to tighten and loosen hex screws, which are commonly found on products that require assembly at home, such as furniture and bicycles. The FlexHex sets are available in SAE, metric, and Torx® sizes and prices range from $28.99 to $34.99. Consumers can purchase FlexHex at leading retailers this summer.
