GearWrench Products Recognized with Prestigious AwardsNovember was a proud month for GearWrench. The innovative new GearWrench product line extension was recognized with several prestigious honors from the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), Popular Science and Popular Mechanics. The award-winning products include X-Beam™ Ratcheting Wrenches, XL Electronic Torque Wrench and the Locking Flex Pass-Thru Ratchet. The Electronic Torque Wrench was selected as one of two runners-up in the “Best New Tools and Equipment Product” category for its superiority in innovation, technical achievement, quality, workmanship and consumer appeal. Additionally, all three products were selected by a panel of international journalists for the second annual SEMA International New Products Award. With a jury representing 37 media outlets in 22 countries, the jury determines which new products are most likely to succeed. Also in November, the X-Beam Wrench received the 2006 Best of What’s New Award from Popular Science in the Home Technology category. Judged among thousands of entries for the coveted annual award, the X-Beam was selected for its ergonomic design, innovation and ease-of-use. The X-Beam is featured in the December issue of Popular Science and was on display in at New York’s Grand Central Station for a week in November. The X-Beam was also one of four tools selected by Popular Mechanics for its “Upgrade: Wish List 2007.” The annual guide is known in the industry as the “guide to the best gear to give, get or simply pine for this year.” |
