1) Sweepstakes begins on 4/27/06 and ends on 7/7/06.
2) ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia (“D.C.”) who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry except the following, who may not participate: a) Employees of Danaher Corporation, its divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries; b) Employees and owners of any and all automotive parts stores; c) Employees and owners of any and all automotive warehouses/distribution centers; d) The advertising and promotion agencies of any of the above; e) Members of the immediate families (defined, for these purposes, as including spouses and parents, siblings and children and their respective spouses) of any of the above; and f) Members of the households of any of the above.
3) HOW TO ENTER: Complete web form entry at GearWrench.com
Entries must be submitted by 7/7/06 and received by 7/14/06. To enter, fill out the form. After you have filled out the form, hit "submit". Failure to fill-out the entire form or hit "submit" will prevent your entry from being received. All fields in the registration form must be completed in order for us to send the prize, and prizes will only be sent to addresses within the United States. Limit one entry per household. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, damaged or postage-due entries or mail, or for entries submitted in a manner that is not specifically allowed under these Rules - All such entries will be void. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Only official entry forms will be accepted. No mechanically reproduced, computer-generated or facsimile entries allowed.
4) PRIZES / APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV): Two tickets to the 2006 Allstate®
400 at the Brickyard® of Sponsor’s choice. (ARV $ 250). We reserve the right to substitute prizes or terminate the sweepstakes at any time without notice. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Prize does not include any transportation or any other associated expenses.
Winners are responsible for federal, state and/or local income taxes on prizes, as well as all expenses not listed herein related to acceptance and use of prizes. Prizes are non-transferable. No prize substitutions or cash redemptions allowed except at Sponsors discretion or as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
5) WINNER SELECTION: The winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about 7/17/06 from among all eligible entries received. The actual odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by mail and/or phone and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (where permissible), within 14 days of date of first written notification. Failure to timely return executed forms will cause prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner provided. If a prize is refused or prize notification is returned or deemed undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected provided.
6) CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree: a) to abide by and be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which shall be final in all respects; (b) to release Danaher Corporation, its divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies, , and each of their respective directors, officers and employees from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation in this sweepstakes or resulting from or in connection with the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, or participation in prize-related activities, including but not limited to travel related thereto; and acknowledge that said parties have not made any guarantee, representation or warranty, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize or any component thereof, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Noncompliance with the official rules will result in disqualification. By accepting prizes, winners (or their parents/guardians) further consent to the use of winners names, likenesses and/or biographical information for advertising, trade or publicity purposes in commerce and/or in any and all media worldwide without limitation or additional compensation.
7) Privacy: By submitting an entry, you grant Danaher Tool Group permission to send information and offers to you via e-mail and regular mail. If you do not wish to receive such information and offers, please do not submit an entry or you may opt out email by following instruction on the email. We do not sell, lease, rent or loan any personally identifying information to third parties and your personal information will not be released to any third parties unless required by applicable law. We may provide aggregate statistics about customers, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third parties for statistical analysis, but these statistics will not include any personally identifying information. Danaher Tool Groups policy is to prohibit children under the age of 18 from using the web site without adult supervision. We have no intention of collecting or using personally identifying information from children, but we cannot control access to the Internet. If a child has submitted such information, his or her parent or guardian should inform us immediately, and such information will be deleted from Danaher Tool Groups records.
